About the Journal

MANUSKRIPTA (ISSN: 2252-5343, e-ISSN: 2355-7605) is a scholarly journal published by the Indonesian Association for Nusantara manuscripts or Masyarakat Pernaskahan Nusantara (MANASSA). It focuses to publish research-based articles on the study of Indonesian and Southeast Asian (Nusantara) manuscripts.

MANUSKRIPTA aims to preserve and explore the diversity of Nusantara manuscripts while integrating local insights into global academic discourse. Published biannually in June and December, the journal is dedicated to providing students, researchers, scholars, librarians, and collectors with the latest scholarly developments in the field. We welcome contributions in both Indonesian and English concerning the study of manuscripts from Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian (Nusantara) region. To ensure the highest standards of excellence, all submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process.

 
MANUSKRIPTA has been accredited by The Ministry of Research and Technology /National Agency for Research and Innovation, Republic of Indonesia as an academic journal (Decree No. 148/M/KPT/2020). The Journal has been ranked 3rd in SINTA.
